PERSPECTIVE
Right or wrong. Black or white. Left or right. Up or down. We like our answers in twos — rarely anything in between.
But that's not quite how I see it. I see variety — a diamond with countless sides, a color spectrum with endless shades in between. I see that every path, however strange, usually has a reason behind it, even when we can't see it right away. We don't need to pick a side. We don't need to be "this" or "that." What we need is more perspective — the willingness to keep collecting it.
Because that's how the heart stays open. That's how we become more empathetic, more understanding, a little wiser with each one. And perspective isn't only something we look for out in the world — it lives inside people too, inside situations, inside things we think we already understand. The more sides we're willing to see, the closer we get to the whole shape.
