We're taught to think of treasure as gold, as diamonds — something rare, something hard. But take people out of this world, and what's left to call valuable? Nothing here was built alone. Every person I meet holds something I haven't seen anywhere else: a thought, a story, a kind of beauty that belongs only to them. Every face, every conversation teaches me something I didn't know I needed. If that's not treasure, I don't know what is.
